Another successful Sundays Hangar tours ... 36 Visitors , 6 no shows but we did get apologies....

The first sight of her after leaving the hangar office - is pretty breathtaking on it's own. (She has an 'awe factor' of her own - despite being in bits)

Having spent a few years around and under Vulcans in my dark and distant RAF days.. I always knew (way back then) - Vulcan was unique. Today has made me realize how close we came to losing this precious creature.

My thanks go to Toni, Mack, Steve and everyone else who made yesterdays visit so enjoyable and informative . The Engineers are in a class of thier own - for thier dedication and long hours they put into keeping 558 going. Doffs hat to you guys

Highly recommend a Hangar Tour.. to those that may be considering it .

3rd from last shows the front spar strengthening is progressing well.

Could you be a star and post a couple of close up's??
