Well I went to see her - pleased I did, nice approach to Waddington little wing wave and off to Scampton. Could see her strut her stuff there and then disappear into wild blue yonder on her way back to Finningley.

I have had this problem before I know the cards OK. The pc will recognise it next time I reboot.

A huge crowd turned up and clogged all the approaches to Staverton I hope they donated.. I also hope that The Aviator pub/cafe donated a chunk to VTTS as it was rammed all afternoon. The queues were out into the car park for the 5 hours I was there...

There were loads of people at Scampton. We ended up at Dunholme lodge in the end as someone stole my parking space

I have a bit of video but I haven't had chance to put it on YouTube yet, and as I took it with my Canon rather than my Fuji, it takes forever to upload.

i wish i hadnt travelled for an hour to cosford, very disappointing, i think i can speak for the whole crowd, you could hear everyone saying 'is that it' 'she must be coming round again' very quiet, came in, turned away from crowd, hardly into airfield space, and cosford charging £2.50 to park

Well there were good crowds at RAF Cosford today although we knew it would only make one pass through it was quite low but a bit far away then disappeared over the top of hanger one.

Anyway here is the vid sorry about doing it the old way but just can not get the youtube thing to work???

We were late again then my little camera wouldn't turn on so I quickly switched to my big camera, so I missed the howl

25 July 2008 - Flypast over the house, going home from a show .
4 July 2009 - Static. Not permitted to fly at Waddington .
3 July 2010 - Fly-in, Display, Fly out at Waddington .
2 July 2011 - Take off, Display, Land at Waddington .
Not seen her fly or display at all this year . Will see her static and silent in the hangar at Doncaster .

Mayfly may know where the 2008 show was. She did tell me, but I forget.

It appears there were some remarks re the 'ex RAF Cottesmore fly past' - not on target and quite high. Well it appears as from 05.20 yesterday morning the Army had raised an Notam stopping overflight of the now Barracks!!

Won't say what I think about it! [taking into account they are simply being pongos!!]

It was well known that it was a flyby, anyway Cosford has a wonderful collection to see, not bad for 2.50
