I'm so very sad to let you know that I lost my beautiful, beloved husband David Thomas in the early hours of this morning.

His passing was peaceful and calm and he died in my arms.
I shall miss him terribly.

I only picked up on this very sad news lunch time today.
I'm so very sad to learn of the passing of David. He was an inspiration to everyone whose lives he touched. Mr Vulcan has soared to heights that he has never reached before. God Bless you Sir, Blue skies.

Alzheimer's is a wicked and cruel disease and the sooner they can find medication that works, never mind a cure the better.

In keeping with DT's ethos, there is no commission to pay on donations and you can gift aid.

So yesterday I laid my boy to rest.
The service was lovely just what I hoped for, the church was full, the weather appalling - sleet and hail, so I expect DT was looking down with a mischief smile, the vicar was a lovely light hearted character again exactly what I wanted.

Thank you all who donated to David's page, we reached over £1000 yesterday, by the time the page closes if it hasn't reached £!213 I shall make up the amount as that is the combined tail numbers of XM655 & XH558, a fitting tribute I feel.

I have read hundreds of wonderful tributes to David, again I thank each and every one of you for your support.

My daughter told me about David this afternoon as she looks at 558's website occasionally. I really don't know what to say, Pam, except that I am so, so sorry. All I can do is send my love and thoughts to you.
