I have to Thank Mags for letting me know it was online I forgot to get the paper and couldnt find it on th esite at first.

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

I'm no star guys .I'm sort of one of those bums that so far has not see 558 fly But still feels. The need to keep her in the public eye .No actually it pays to have a friendly newspaper right on the doorstep of an airbase where they can check the facts and figures .Would also guess that if Dr Bob was in the office the other day he would have got grilled. Still if it gets a few quid out of these Scots wallets I'll do it again if I have to . Seems i started being a pain in the ass to some newspapers a few years ago on 558s case so I may as well come out of retirement and have another bash.
I don't do keep the faith I just get on and do.Normally i don't/won't put stuff like that on here (some of the mods might get stroppy) but thought it a nice change from all the people bashing thats been going on of late .

Call this what you like.

HH, I :ymapplause: you.
It is dedication and the will to help like this that will keep the wind beneath her where everything else may fail.

Superb effort :D

Kev

Edit: For what it's worth I did comment on the article. It deserved it.

Some success here down South :

It certainly pays to keep local press onboard and informed.

I hope it's not too inflammatory and I hope that certain people wont completely misunderstand it like they did with the last one.
