Last Vulcan appearance abroad?

Postby Gully » Sat May 09, 2009 8:41 am

Well, I posted this query over on the VOC forum and despite it being read about 80 times, nobody seems to know the answer, so I thought I'd try the Iconic pool of knowledge too..!

We now know that '558 will be displaying at Volkel this year. My question is when did a Vulcan last appear overseas? And the Channel Islands don't count!!

Did the VDF ever display abroad? Or was it back in the tanking days? Or even earlier: the US museum deliveries?

Thanks,

Gully

Mayfly would be the best to answer this i think, but I'm almost certain that 558 used to go abroad - in VDF days of course.

failing that, Martin Withers' appearance over Port Stanley could be a contender for last overseas 'display' :D

Thank you! Thought the font of all knowledge (Vulcan!) would be able to answer that one! ;) :D
