Here are a few old pics taken at RAF Cosford First three by my dad the rest by me. I know that as me and my bro are in the first three.
Avro Vulcan B1 XA900 the last B1 in existence she stood next to Victor B1 XA923 both were scrapped at Cosford after spending many years there as instructional airframes. Much debate over if these machine flew into Cosford (most seem to think yes). Victor scrapped 1985 Vulcan 1986.

Shorts SC-5 Belfast C1 XR371 in the colours she was delivered in early 80's

Vickers VC10 G-ARVM again just after delivery this machine did land at Cosford and as soon as i can find my pic of it landing i will post it.

Ok a few from July 1986
Handley Page Victor K1A XH592 the second of at least three Victors that have filled Cosford's hangers again not sure if she flew in but i do know when scrapped the nose section ended up at Bruntingthorpe i think its still there.

Canberra the Gnat and the Javelin all outside in the July sunshine!

Avro Vulcan B2 XM598 we know this machine landed there as she was brought in by her Black Buck pilot John Reeve!

What no Cold War Exhibition! Vickers Varsity WF379 no longer at Cosford HS Trident 1 G-ARPH smashed for scrap and Bristol Britannia G-AOVF just after her repaint.

One from the 1987 Airshow randomly Harrier GR3 going through its paces during its display that year. In fact i think it was the last time a GR3 displayed at Cosford as no display in 88 and 89 saw the first display by the GR5!

And finally an interesting pic of Concorde G-BOAG turning over our estate in Kingswinford August 1987 affectively flying across the front of the house while performing a few passes at Halfpenny Green Airport just about three miles from our house. Looking at her position she would have been flying right over the town centre! I just remember the noise being amazing as she powered away. Those were the days!!

Hope you have enjoyed these few pic from my past.
Thanks for looking
