No1 SLG Slade Farm

[Cluny]

Opened 1st December 1940 , this satellite Landing Ground was used by 2GTS Hotspurs from Weston on the Green and for Aircraft Storage . The main types stored here were Wellingtons , Lysanders and Manchesters till it closed 10th January 1946 .

Couldn't do a full search of the airfield site as a shoot was going on so here's the few pics I took of the Hangar by the car park [the site is a farm and business park now] .
