Heard about this from a client today. Glad he pretty well walked away - lucky guy!
Wonder if he got caught in one of todays monsoons

Shame he couldn't have landed the little thing on a fairway, then he could have nipped to the nearest garage and got himself a gallon of fuel and continued his journey!

Wot a numpty running out of fuel :-o. Coming up this way from Cumbria region there were places he could've stopped to top up.

There are plenty of Motorway Service Stations that would accept the smaller plane! ;)

Now my brain's been saying to me - Golf Course = Fairway .... Fairway = Runway .... Golf course = 18 chances.... Choose one of 18 Fairways or Choose tree ...... sorry - doesn't compute :D :p

Still I suppose you had to be there :p
