Globespan down the Pan.......

Don't the MOD use Globespan to ferry service personnel to and from the current theatres? (Well did)

How are the poor sods getting home now? Yomping??

Yep. As far as I know, they did the trooper service to the South Atlantic. Looks like they're all stranded down there for Christmas, unless we get a spare tri* or VC10 to do the run. Could be worse though, at least it's the summer down there.

Air Italy have taken over the Falklands flights, still with B767's I think.

WHAT????? The Wops are ferrying our Lads/Lasses around???? not Al Italia then, just another budget Airline.
