Today at Robin Hood (14/4/10)

Postby Yorkie » Wed Apr 14, 2010 6:33 pm

A quiet day at Robin Hood, G-CDCX kept up amused doing circuits with aborted landings, touch and Go's and landing/take offs. other than that quite a few people standing around looking at nothing.

Hope you enjoy what i did get. (note to self to get a new camera, taken with a Fuji Finepix s1000fd)

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Thanks for posting what you did manage to see operating.

Trust me to pick a day where there was no flying at an international airport.

Even went in for coffee to stay warm and check the departures board... Nothing. thank goodness for the cessna, I do like the smell of aviation fuel on an afternoon ;)

arrivals was closed.

Hmmmm next time i'm off to Linton ot LBIA to get photo's
