I had to check the date today to make sure that it wasn't 1st April:

Ryanair are quoted as saying that they could sell these seats for as little as £5 each. However it is expected that the CAA would not allow these seats to be introduced by any UK Airline.

But Ryanair is not a UK airline!

Could they ban planes fitted with these from landing in the UK ? Having said that Personally having great difficulty sitting in normal Aircraft seats & also train seats. Those may be the answer but does not mean I would even entertain flying Ryan cheapair.

I cant wait to see the 20 door 737 pmsl. Michael, get real. They look uncomfortable, they aint going to be safe. And did u take into account the extra cost of the redesigning of aircraft in order to have more emergency exits to be built in?

If u want a higher capacity, buy a bigget aircraft. Its not hard. Although i don't think the ryanair colours would look good on a 767/787/330, although it would be interesting.

Why did ryanair not go for the 737-900ER? 212 seats, makes more sense to buy that aircraft which doesnt cost that much more to operate. but gives an extra 23 seats to be sold at £149.99 one way. Get the cheap fares, book 11 months in advance, wear all your clothes, eat at home and pee behind an empty seat.

I am so anti ryanair lol.

I've flown twice because no other a/c was going where I wanted to go, both short flights thank goodness. Dirty aircraft & untidy & not very happy looking cabin crew. In fact to feed & water 4 of us because we were starving costs twice the airfare!!!!

mustve been a one off then, just for me

1 fault, no sickbags and my sister felt sick.
she wasnt luckily but we only got a plastic bag and 3 or 4 tissues!
