This is why I am so wound-up about her current status. Many people gave of their time and their bank accounts to keep this aircraft flying. Politics and a degree of incompetance glued her to the tarmac. It remains to be seen if she will ever fly again!
Airline History Museum held their annual meeting on Saturday Night in Kansas City, and while no major announcements were made of imminent Constellation flights, they DID name a Chief Pilot for their Connie!
This is excellent news which bodes well for what is a superb aircraft........
Corrosion was the excuse for many years for not even trying to fly this aircraft, and I am ecstatic to finally know for certain that this was a Load of Crap
