This has been mentioned a few times in other threads, but I thought it was time to give it a dedicated topic.

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Lancaster, Hurricane & Spitfire) confirmed for a flypast at 1350L during Wings & Wheels (with the usual caveats)......this will be the first time that the Lancaster has ever flown over Wellesbourne to the knowledge of those with a long association with Wellesbourne.

We should also have a much improved line-up of 'interesting' aircraft flying-in and forming the static display this year......exactly what this consists of is still being negotiated.

Also, we'll have the Classic Flight Dragon Rapide doing pleasure flights....and perhaps one more 'classic' from Coventry as well.....

And all this for just £5.

Air Atlantique could offer either their 'usual' 15 minutes airborne for £75, or a new 'long circuit' trip for the lower price of £49. Either of these would be in their beautiful Dragon Rapide.

Which would you think is most appropriate for Wings & Wheels and our audience? To keep it simple, we could only ask them to provide one or the other for the whole day.

The lower priced, shorter duration option would allow more people to fly and in these times of economic hardship would be a welcome change!

The long circuit £49 option gets my vote. Always a popular choice at Flying Legends, where their 'short' circuit costs around £35.

I agree with the point about getting more in on the long circuit, but is the 15 minutes airbourne better value for money?

And I suppose I better get my money ready if I vote for either.

Also any feeling on what the uptake would be? i.e. Enough to do 15 mins but not enough for long circuits or plenty for any eventuality.

And can I have a flight alonside the runway during the fast taxi?
