Today I had the Honour

Postby Mayfly » Mon Oct 31, 2011 7:11 pm

of attending Jon Egging, Red 4s Memorial Service in Lincoln Cathedral. It was very moving and I feel very humble. His mother and sister gave readings and Emma gave a personal account of their life together, very brave ladies indeed. There was then a fly past by 5 of the Reds.

The Jon Egging Trust set up by his family is for 13 -25 year olds from under privileged backgrounds to help them reach their full potential and I'm sure you join me in wishing it all the luck in the world.

I wish them all the very best with the trust as well and am pleased you could attend. Rather fitting that the name of the trust shortens to JET.

Good work Pam! :ymapplause:

Do you know the significance of flying only ENID rather than an eight ship salute? :-o

Oh I'm sure they were, I just wondered why the full 8 weren't flying! :-o

I assumed they kept it to last years team members minus Ben Red 1 who gave a reading, but that's just guess work.
