There are many former USAF bases that
haven't done very well......

Ours, which used to be a SAC base called
Dow AFB, has actually done rather well
over the years -- it actually turns a PROFIT!

When the Space Shuttle was still
flying there were employees
trained by NASA and a facility with
various equipment in the event one
had to land here........

When the Concord(e) was still
flying both the AF and BA
Concord(e)s were regular visitors
with trained groundcrew here and
a spares store to fix 'em if required......

The public at large barely knows
that KBGR exists, but it is here
none-the-less.......

Definitely can't do both and Waddington will always come first based purely on location (And I'm not stupid enough to even ask mum if she wan't to do both ).
