EDIT: These 3 Victors of 55 Sqn are - XM717 'Lucky Lou' whose nose section is preserved in the RAF Museum at Hendon - XL161 ( interesting story here http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/archiv ... 79291.html) which was scrapped at Lyneham in 1996 - and XL231 'Lusty Lindy' which is owned by Andre Tempest and still fast taxies at YAM Elvington.

EDIT: Oli great Rafale display. Do you know if the pilot was the legendary "RUT" (pronounced Root). I have never seen an aircraft performing such a huge part of its display in full re-heat and flying "Square" loops and "Skid" turns ... Not since the F2A Lightnings at Leconfield..that is

Probably because to pay for it we'd need a level of taxation the UK population wouldn't pay.
