Howling at Finningley

Thirty two howls ! Finningley today, a very successful EGR for 558, looking very pretty in her (unfinished) new coat of paint :D B-)

I think I must be the only person to think she's lost her character with her new coat!

Quite a few people do think so too, yes it looks lovely with new paint, but....mind you at the moment the top of the wings is definitely "well aged" :D so best of both worlds, albeit not for much longer :(

The V Force Reunion is hoping for a fly past but looking at the weather forecast it's seems it's going bo heaving it down for the next 5 days. :(

I was within a bloody stones throw of Finningley yesterday and didn't know about the engine runs :((

Weather forecast is so bad, Id be surprised if any picked time could be kept to, they ll be looking for a clear window, although getting a clear 90 mn window is really a lot to ask for ! Ah well, there is always Friday, and even saturday :( unless you camp outside the airfield, you ll be lucky to catch it :( still, fingers crossed :D
