Lancaster Model

Postby Mayfly » Wed Jul 04, 2012 7:33 am

I've just been sent this link, this model Lancaster now resides in the Old Gymnasium at Metheringham after being given to the Friends of Metheringham Airfield in 2005. It's 1/4 scale.

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

1/4 scale? That's got to be about the same size as most light aircraft!
Grumpy old man in training!

How can you fly something so big without a licence, that could do some serious damage! :-o

Impressive model though!
