What i was saying is that even though "facts" may come from trust staff they cannot be relied upon and certainly not reported on unless you have both sides of the story as there is often far more to a situation.

Hmmmmmm

I'll let your comment pass, purely because you don't know me!

Everyone who does knows that I will only post what I know is FACT, and I check things out if I'm unsure so that I don't pass on false information. The instances I was talking about in my post came directly from people involved in certain situations, not hear-say at all. Hear-say gets you into all kinds of trouble if passed on! So I leave that to many other capable people :))

Apologies. I feel that some people got the wrong end of my stick.

I was merely pointing out Trust personnel will be there at the weekend. I was NOT suggesting that anyone do anything stupid, start a bit of chest poking etc. I was merely suggesting that if you want to speak to those whose job it is to run the project - they will be there and are generally quite approachable (well, I have always found them to be so). You MAY even find that you leave the place enlightened, knowing more than when you arrived (but I cannot guarantee that).

Having chatted to x person or y person, perhaps politely ask if they do not mind you posting what was said, for the benefit of those who cannot make it.

Sometimes, the Vulcan saga makes me angry, other times happy. Suffice to say, getting stroppy with those who run the project when you meet them does no-one any favours, and will not help you if you are trying to hold a conversation with them.

Finally, March Hare is a superb day out with great value for money. I only wish I could be there this weekend to catch up with friends and help raise some money. Unfortunately, it looks like work has put the brakes on this. There will always be a next time.

Hope that clears up my position on this.

No, you misunderstand me, what i was saying that what you or anyone passes on to you as a fact my not be entierly factual or the whole story, i was not suggesting you would knowingly post untruths.

Was pretty clear to me, and you've just clarified I was right in how I understood your post! When things come from the horses mouth (sorry folks I don't think you're horses =)) ) I can comment. If it's hearsay then I leave that to others....

Edited to say - who gives a damn!

With all due respect i know exactly what i was getting at and it certainly isn't how you seem to take it. ;)

As for the photo i quite agree! The photo and tag line with it is getting to personal, i am relatively new to this forum and the impression that and other posts here gives is not a good one. i would explain but to be honest given how this thread has gone it would be a waste of time. you (by that i mean all users) read into things whatever you want to see, you fail to see the bigger picture and seem intent on finding more reasons to have a swipe at anything to do with the running of the Vulcan, you complain about the lack of communication from the trust yet why would they come on here with signatures like that? You have from what i read in an other thread 3 engineers backing off from here and its little wonder.

So Mr Eames, does your post above mean we will never get the information you have promised us?
