I agree completely. When I read it, neither the top photo or that one had loaded by the time I finished. It is quite despicable

I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about the inclusion of an image of the BAE Hawk aircraft that caused the death of Flt Lt Sean Cunningham last November (see link)

I feel that is most insensitive to the memory of Flt Lt Cunningham and his family that such an image be used. I would be grateful if you would remove said image immediately and I expect an apology by return.

I shall be contacting the MOD and advising of the insensitivity by your news staff.

The choice of photo was a crass mistake, by someone without any understanding of the significance of that 'fired' ejection seat. Now if the call had gone out for a 'stock' photo of, say, Cheryl Cole or Mrs Rooney, instead of a Red's Hawk then, ..... who knows?

BTW although those involved with this Sky News piece are all female my comments have nothing to do with sexism as I know of at least a couple of my own close friends who would probably not have spotted this gaffe.
(Mind you they would also not have a clue who Cheryl Cole or Mrs Rooney were either).
