Perhaps Nick - in hindsight - it would have been a good idea to say in your first post ....

'As the late great Kenny Everett said' ..........
Nickolas wrote:let's Round 'em up, put 'em in a field and BOMB THE BASTARDS..............

That would have solved the problem and been more IA friendly IMHO - as we are oftren referring to chunks of stuff from the great comedians of the past as most of us know chunks of their stuff off by heart :D

But some don't :p :D

Take your point PP, perhaps the correct place on the forum would be on "Chit Chat" for a bit of jingoism etc, but one must allow the kids to play now and again and as you will see we have some "right" comedians on here. :)

Mister Pat:

I don't pay an entire whole lot of
attention to all that. Being 1/4th
French, I guess I have my bets
covered....

BUT I am REALLY looking forward
to meeting you this summer.

Who's buying?

Re SFs comment above I am one of those who had no idea Nick was quoting KE. He [KE] was just not my style!!!
I do however know Nick & realise he is not as the post in hind sight would appear. [Isn't hind sight just wonderful]

PP please stick around, there is a quirky sense of humour on here..... and this is also a good reminder that the aviation side of this forum is visible to the world & is what IA is judged by!

TDC:

I'm sorry, but "Cough, Cough" and reposting your
editorial piece from a while back doesn't seem to
me to actually accomplish anything.

And you still haven't gotten sufficiently specific,
at least not for me, in what you propose to do or
even the exact nature of your complaint(s).

If you're going to complain about the Forum going
in what you consider to be the wrong direction, then
it's no good unless you lay out specifics of what you
mean and proposed solutions.

Until you do, your statements don't carry a lot of
weight for me, no matter how well they are expressed......

I'm glad you feel free to post them up on here, though.
