Yep, agree with you there Danth :ymapplause: . I reckon that is probably my fave too of the first flight vids. Sorry CG, yours is good - but you were a smidge further away.

Later vids......Hmmm

Mainly because we were there (right with ya Cluny) - and what a day it was. Particularly after the night before at the Travelodge in Grantham. How late was it again? :((

I also like this.............

a little self indulgent I know. But it was a day that will live with both CG and I all our lives, and this was something to lighten the day. We only found out about it less than an hour before she was due to fly through, so it was a bit of a rush to get there.

Final one.........WOW

Also really like the 'parting of the sheep' at Yeovilton. Nice howl.

Roll on 2010 display season.

I don't usually like music played over videos of the display, it usually adds nothing and often imposes on the performance of XH558's 'howl'. However, that last video Vulcan Bomber Tribute, is the exception that proves me wrong :ymapplause:

First of all to answer CF , 3am and up again at 6am I-) =))
My prefered self indulgent vid from last year [eventhough it does have a YT induced fault in it :( ] , longest howl I recorded and one hell of a drive to beat her to Brize :)

But this is outright fav of THAT takeoff B-)

Agree with you there Tim, brilliant two days.

The arrival was probably more memorable as we were there about 7 hours =)) =))

Here's mine from the Friday.

That was the first takeoff I had (ever) seen. As I'm sure you can tell =)) =)) .

Yes my number one - every time - first take off - a good howl and you couldn't have wanted a better position ...

D.

And I agree this is astounding ....a good howl and another brilliant position for the full effect... and with just a tiny bit more pressure on the stick that would have been a Rolly Falk moment - she's nearly on her back :p :D
