XL426 'Visit the Vulcan Days' at Southend Airport‏

Postby 34053 » Sun Apr 18, 2010 11:29 am

Heard about this on LBC 97.3 Radio earlier this morning. Just looked it up on the Internet:

Visit the Vulcan Days
Throughout the spring and summer, the VRT holds four Visit the Vulcan Days at London Southend Airport, Essex SS2 6YF. These events are your chance to get a close-up view of XL426 and feature guided tours of the aircraft and cockpit visits. Visitors can also meet the Engineering Team, purchase souvenirs and find out more about the Vulcan and the Vulcan Restoration Trust.

These are excellent days - really recommended! Great to be able to get inside '426 and see all the work being done for the 'Return to Power' and fast taxiing. :D
