Trident 1C G-ARPO restoration commences....

Hi all,I have now commenced restoration on flightdeck panels and part's from our robbing trip to Belfast and the donor aircraft Trident 2E G-AVFE.I willl add assorted images from our trip first then onto the restoration. :D

First up donaor aircraft G-AVFE this aircraft flew the Queen on a royal tour to Turkey in the early 1970's.

Yes sadly i am...i would have liked to remove it correctly but it was being very awkward so because of time limits i had to cut it off .

No not really but i did the same when i restored Trident 3B G-AWZK.. :D

Hi all,the team spent all day at Teesside yesterday washing the aircraft (what they could get too) and i spent all day removing panels from the flightdeck to take home for restoration,anyway here are a few images from our day..

Meanwhile i was busy in the flightdeck removing the black out paint on the windows..

I also removed the centre panel and placed in the restored one....just a taster as to what the flightddeck will look like once completed.. :D
