Surely it would be more fun to stand them behind the B52 on the runway just as it runs it engines up to full take off power :YMDEVIL: :-?

Sounds like that might bring in more punters!

New dilemma.......................

As I am a member of the CSMA I can get RIAT tickets for £30 each with no booking fee (25% off)..............Nice :D

They don't do the any day ticket though :(

So, the either day ticket direct from RIAT £42.50ea + £4 booking fee, or
Stick to saturday, purchase from CSMA £30ea.
~x(

I can order upto 10 tickets if anyone else is interested (I, personally will only purchase 2 for my use).

Well I have decided to do something different for RIAT, fook knows if it will pay off or not.

I decided to go for the Friday and will pay for Park n View at the East end. Dunno if much arrives or practises on a Friday but here's hoping it does! LOL

I just can't do the large amount of money for tickets, camping and fuel this year and I really couldn't tolerate the crowds last year so maybe this could be a more relaxed way to experience RIAT.

So I'm arriving at Townsend Farm Thursday, camping, switch between West and East end Park n View Friday, camping the night then bog off home on Saturday once the congestion has cleared.

Well, I say that... I have put in my holiday request and haven't got it approved yet so booked the camping as I had no time left to wait for that ~x(

Cor, now he tells us..........

Just spent 5x £32.50 on tickets.

I might take you up on it next year if that's OK?

If there are any 16+ Cadets who are going to RIAT this year not as part of a Sqn visit then they can get in free on SATURDAY only...........

The Cadets OC needs to email dmr@rafcte.com and apply for admission of an over 16 Cadet. They will need to provide the name(s) and postal address(as) of the cadet(so).
Tickets will then be printed and mailed out in the normal way.

Cadets taking advantage of this concession MUST be accompanied by a paying ticket holder.

Thankfully, I ordered my tickets before todays bad news :-BD

I'm definately going on the saturday now and I'm bringing my Dad instead of Dawn as its his Birthday the week before and he's too just lost his job (medical reasons for him) so a good bit of cheering up needed there.

I'm now starting to think about my plans for the day and wondering where most of you are going to be. I'm thinking I get there early, find a spot somewhere crowd centre, bring a picnic and not move for 8 hours.........
