Why can't I track 558?

Been trying to track 558 today on radarvirtuel and flightradar24.com with no avail.
Ant ideas out there?

Could it be that 558 has no facility to accept secondary radar so cannot send it's details to ATC or maybe I'm talking out of my a se

you can't I don't think - there's also another website called radar24 or something like that for tracking a/c - again I think only civil tho'

I know 558 squawks because I tracked her in 08 on the her way to Southport on the mil network - don't know if you can see her on the civil ones tho'

I was reading one the fora today where someone said they thought they saw her just as she landed which is where this link came from - was it TVOC forum??

They're not real time - I think they run 4-5 mins behind but you can easily work out where they're going & when they'll be there!!!

That plane finder's good as it shows them at 0ft taxiing at 11kts along the taxi ways at places like Heathrow - where radar virtuel loses them after landing :D

When skiing a friend had a gizmo that tracked where they'd been that day and could be downloaded into Google Earth to get a 3D path. Would that work in XH558?

Not real time, but would be fun to see a display in 3D.
