I'm there Saturday, but not sure on right hand end (I shall be coming on the Red Route/car park), central or Vulcan Village (left hand end)

(or walk about all day)
I'd rather be skiing

First thing I have to do when I get there is go straight to the CSMA hospitality tent to pick up my programme and get some free coffee and a danish :p . Just a shame the CSMA tent is at the wrong end of the runway or I'd invite you all :D
I will be heading to the right side of the grandstand near the pimms enclosure to make base for the day, unless anyone can think of somewhere better?

MS2 if you are referring to Hihonyr posts several pages ago - it is not meant in anyway as serious - there is a standing joke about it about always raining when certain members attend air shows.

There is no-one on this forum I can think of who is remotely vindictive or nasty in anyway - there is however lots of tongue in cheek humour! ;)

2 days of just myself and the noise of aircraft, now only a few hours away, followed by a day with one of my best mates on Saturday watching in full. God I love Fairford and get excited like a 10 year old every year!!

I feel your glee :D
I just wish I lived closer, they wouldn't get rid of me until monday!

I wonder if Xpl will be talking spam to himself in his tent/sleep this week due to lack of IA :)) :p
Mayfly wrote:=)) =)) =)) I feel the same about Waddington!

I'm now getting that way about Bournemouth this year...........especially if the RNLAF F16 arrives the day before the air festival starts and does one of its crazy full burner aborted landings. My sister's getting married at a Manor house just off the end of the runway that day :D

So do you view that as considerate or inconsiderate?

Definately considerate, I get to see arrivals and her wedding at the same time. I'll even have an excuse to take the camera (for the wedding of course :p ). Might even be lucky enough to see the reds too, as they're displaying just down the road that day :YMPRAY:

Yeah it's typical isn't it - last year entered by the Green gate & had to walk the length of the flight line - this year entering by the Red gate & guess what -
