XH558 at RAF Marham 12/8/2010

Postby Hihonyr8811 » Thu Aug 12, 2010 11:17 pm

Was sunny right up until the Dakota arrived lol :))
Before anyone asks the tissue was for my camera as it was chucking it down lol ~x( :)) the all of a sudden it stopped \:D/

Sorry for the poor quality, I had rain drops on the lense :(( :(

Highlight of my day was this.......

Marham Tower - "Dakota 95, Traffic, right, 3 miles inbound to display"
Dakota "Roger, visual with the Vulcan" :D :D

Or something very similar lol :D
Similar thing happend in 2008 when she was due in to Coningsby, heard she was on the way through the Dakota first lol :D .

Is that a Pave Hawk btw, I'm not very good at helicopter IDing, but he was definitely American.

Ok what have I done wrong????? used to work, what's changed?

Helen, yes it was a Pave Hawk an MH-60 out of Mildenhall, primary task is recovery of downed aircrew!

TSR-2 simply got the first 3 right. ”
