ok - the picture was taken (apparently) in 1977 - it was the only one built - designed for sale in developing countries, but they never sold any :p

Ok - it was built in Waddington had a test flight at Farnborough with an Argentinian test pilot called Black Buck and it's recently been rebuilt by a band of willing volunteers and currently languishes in a Leicstershire hangar starved of cash. ;) :p Anywhere near :D

Seriously - would us seeing a bit more of it be possible or will that give the game away too much?

all of the above is way off - as i said, think laterally :D

the location of the picture is loosely associated with 558 these days ;)

if i show you any more of the pic, it will show the registration (G-****) which will be an immediate giveaway :p

ok - the tenuous link with 558 is that the picture was taken at Sywell (home of the Blades ;) )

that should help you search - along with the other info :D

Spot on Stevieboy!

it is indeed "G-AVOR This weird looking aircraft was the sole example built. Designed for use in developing countries it was a sturdy, simple design, but it never found customers"
