Bob Doe in his office with the doors closed

And here he is with the canopy and door open

Yes I know the door is hinged wrong and there's no red crowbar inside the door - but a bit of licence is allowed even for a purist
It is absolutely excellent quality throughout - I was astounded at the weight - All the flying surfaces move and the detail is brilliant.
By FAR the best model I've ever owned and just so evocative as its a MK 1a and REAL Battle Of Britain material.
A real tribute to Bob Doe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Doe
Corgi Model
I thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend it

- I have had a total love affair with the early Mark Spitfires for most of my 57 years and this model just sums it all up in one for me.
