The first commercial A380 bound for Manchester has just flown over, the Emirates looked well in the blue sky of Yorkshire.

Nice shot on approach. Saw it overhead at around 12.10.

crap plane just flown on it only good thing is its really quiet upstairs take ages to board and waiting for bags with 550 other people is just no fun!!!!!

I saw the documentry about the emergency evacuation tests they did on the A380..........90 seconds for full evac apparently. Maybe they could make it more fun, by getting everyone to board that quickly :))

My next door neighbour is travelling on one of these in first class (snob) tomorrow, he's had the pleasure of telling me all about it for the last two days. According to him they've had to remove the screens from the sleep pods & replace them with curtains due to lots of frequent fliers joining the mile high club..........Oh, to even have the chance ;)
