All these marvellous programmes that most of us can't get without shelling out more dosh on top of the license makes me think that in the "good old days" you'd be able to see them for nothing extra on the Beeb. Wake up Aunty - get some decent stuff on instead of all this reality, lifestyle junk.

Always amazes me. I've no idea how many channels we've got - we've got the Virgin Media XL pack, which I think gives us pretty much everything except the Sky Sports and the HD channels. I'd guess there must be a hundred or so. Yet sometimes, you STILL can't find anything to watch!
