Battle of Britain Museum at Bentley Priory

Postby 34053 » Fri Sep 17, 2010 5:29 pm

Great News! Bentley Priory, the Headquarters of Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain, is to be restored and turned into a Museum. The agreement by Harrow Council's Planning Committe was, fittingly, reached during the evening of 15th September - the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. (The statue of Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park was also unveiled in London that day - see 'History Past and Present').

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

I wonder if they will allow CAMERAS?

No mate, precious artifacts, be lucky if they allow people. :))

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.
