thanks Prometheus - Wedgy found one too which seems to exist as well - 80.237.155.34

Tom.com - download and install FSHostClient from here - http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/download.html

once installed, start a single player FSX session (free flight) with a Piper Cub and then start FSHostClient with that IP address - or if that fails use Prometheus' one, but tell me =))

I'm sure you'll figure it out from there - you're a bright lad ;)

it should work Tom.com - anyway, ignore MY IP address - it doesn't work ~x(

use Prometheus' 67.99.18.212 - you should get a little chatbox come up - on the right you will see "saracenman" - if you right-click on my u/name select "jump to saracenman's location"

sorted :D

oh by the way - you'll all be able to see me, but not Wedgy - he's connected on my LAN so can't see anyone other than me! =))

sm

ps - ignore the Acceleration pack idea - it's extra FSX software

In the box for the IP address? :D

There is only 3 boxes ... Player Name, IP Address & Connect port. Put your name and IP in.

Tom it won't mention Iconic, instead you should see something like *Netwings (FSHost 3.2)

yeah once we sorted out the buggeration that was GameSpy/FSHost it was fine - as Tom.com says, could have done with a few more souls :p

Prometheus practised his new way to land a Wokka on a carrier though! =))

tell you what Nickolas - your lad could do with FSX Acceleration to make him compatible with us on multiplayer.

typical Microsoft incompatibility issues X( but well worth it - gives you extra a/c etc and replaces SP2

I'm sure he'd be worthy after he's cleaned the car, done the washing up for a month, mown the lawn, tidied his room and hoovered the house from top to bottom! ;)
