That bottle was sitting on the computer desk and was the easiest thing to put in for scale!

I went to the reasonably new Modelzone store in Peterborough today, what a bloody shambles, the shop is not big enough for all that they want to put on display. They have model paints but no colour charts to allow confirmation of correct shade. I shall never go to that shop again.

Decided to call in to Hobbycraft on the way home and they had the 1.24th Mossie , last one left and it looked so lonely!

Yes I go to the Modelzone in meadowhall, as you say a bit crap with paints, it stocks Revell, however the shop doesnt have a colour chart to convert. Hobbycraft is ok with the paints etc. I'm fortunate enought to have 2 dedicated model shops within 15 miles, both very well stocked. I went to my mothers the other day and got from the loft a 1:72 mossie from the loft, it is from 1981 and unstarted.

Yes , my local Modelzone [MK] is exactly the same so I tend not to use it if I can help it [saying that I was there yesterday to get some filler and ended up with the Airfix 1:72 Sunderland , how did that happen ]

Sadly she was scrapped at Shawbury in 1994.

Contact Airfix, they will replace it!
