Can you beat this?

Postby XR219 » Tue Jan 04, 2011 12:53 am

Possibly the most stupid reason for getting photos rejected on an aviation photo web site ... dull weather!

Yup, the photos were:
- nicely centred
- sharp
- not blurry
- not too dark or too bright
...
and yet they got rejected because the weather was dull!

So basically if the sun never shines where you live, that's one web site where we'll never see your photos.

Bl**dy pathetic!!! ~x( ~x( ~x(

Can anyone beat this?

There's a whole thread on FC about rejected photots and some of the ridiculous reasons they have been rejected - I take it you are talking about a well known site?

Hi guys,

I recall seeing the FC thread - I think I may have contributed to it at one point where they were discussing some shots taken in Germany. Yup, these were my photos and it was a well-known site.

Bizarrely, in recent weeks similar photos have often been accepted by the notoriously picky Airliners.net so it shows how stupid some of these decisions are.

What also gets my goat is where you appeal against a decision and the head screener then finds *another* reason to reject your photo ... grrrr.
