Hi all,i was enjoying the Omni thread with request's for more images of the types and i thought why not start a new thread for these aircraft in particular...in new and old schemes...

First one from me taken a couple of years ago at Manchester RAF L1011-500.

I'm sure that all of those made multiple
visits to Dear Old Bangor back when it
was a regular stop and layover for the
flight crews!

Boeing and Douglas are flying buses..........

Lockheed and a very few others are Pilots' Aircraft!!!!!!!

Lockheed especially has a L-O-N-G history of building
aircraft for the ones what FLY them!

I got to fly L-1011s twice, both times on Delta.

One interesting thing is that the flight crews so
obviously LOVED this aircraft.....

I was also lucky enough to fly on a Tristar a couple of times mate,such a wonderful aircraft to fly in mine was a British Airtours L1011 G-BEAM ,loved it and back then you could go and see the flight deck, got some wonderful views of jersey by night..... :D :D :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

The Gulf Air colour scheme looks brilliant,was that in on a diversion day ? On another note,just look at the old camo hangers which are sadly long gone like the south side :(
