Off for a Jolly...........

Postby Nickolas » Sun Apr 24, 2011 8:41 pm

I'm off on a jolly with the Met Police ASU on Tuesday afternoon.
Going to pitch up at 15:00 and get thrown out at 21:00. (It would be 23:00 but the night shift are in a bit early and taking someone up at 21:00 (if we are back)).
I'll hopefully be taking some images of London from the air and will post them here in due course (Assuming they will let me).

Don't forget to take a couple of packets of CHOCOLATE HOBNOBS, turn up without them and you might get a very boring flight! ;)

Ah well today's the day........... Not too happy about the cloud base as if it's less than 1000' mission binned.
Some of the structures in London are over 1000' tall...............

CANCELLED............

Jolly got cancelled because they have 3 A/c;
1 in service bay,
1 standby
1 in use.
Hours to next service running low on one in use and the one in servicing won't be ready by Friday. So they are only doing 'life 'n death so they can put 2 up on Friday...............

This is the third time it's been scratched............ ~x( ~x( ~x( ~x( ~x(
