And there I believe half the problem lies - the media would have a field day seeing it as a uturn and weak government - right or wrong not a situation any PM would wish to find himself in.

Whilst it is certainly NOT impossible, I personally feel it is EXTREMELY unlikely that such a "U" Turn would actually happen.

Discusions have been held in the States with the USMC regarding which Harriers and spares they want from the pile at Cottesmore.

I would love to see one of the Royal Navy Harrier Squadrons resurected, if it does happen I'll post the first pictures here!

Heard this last week from my RAF pal at Bruntingthorpe. He said he doubts it VERY much.
