Just spent the last hour watching them, great find :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
Well worth the time!!

Nice to see some B-47s, everytime I go to East Kirkby I hear about them being based there, I would have loved to have been around then ;) lots of mucky stuff coming out the back end =)) =))

Interesting to see the B-17s(??) being used for ditch practices, were they recovered for analysis? or do they remain where they were ditched?

I wonder what the dad in the first part of the 2nd vid would think of today's USAF?

I am happy you enjoyed both of these, and I'm going
to see if I can't find a few more....

Gaz: I just KNEW you'd catch that C-97!

Hony: I don't know anout the B-17s, but I expect in
those days they would've HAD to recover them to
get the instrumentation.....

And the Dad in the vid, if he's living, is probably in a
home with memory loss!
