I picked this up at brunty for a fiver yesterday, and I'd like to know what it is and where it goes...

The bit in the middle i think is an attitude indicator and the bit at the bottom i think might be left/right for turns, i just don't know what it is for or where in the cockpit it is.

Any help would be appreciated

Is it a beam finder? [or whatever they are called] the top tells you if you are above or below a preselected flight path and the bottom tells you if you are left or right of it?

If not I haven't a clue.

He's busy doing boys things!! Tells me he's working the pilots handbook for Waddo airshow - I actually think he's playing patience. But will ask when he re- emerges.

Mind you I don't think 474 has one :-?

Did they tell you it was a Bucc part Oli? I looked at some vids and photos of Bucc cockpits and couldn't see it

I like lancasters, but really? He told me 'They're all buccaneer parts but don't ask me what they are as I haven't a clue' I'm annoyed now, had he just said that it was from a Lanc or at least he didn't know where it was from i wouldn't probably have bought it ~x(

I might keep it, or sell it then buy a real bucc part I haven't decided.
I haven't asked Gaz, but the Lanc one is EXACTLY the same as the one beside me right now.
It has on the side '2197' or '21971' and on the back is AM (Air ministry) Ref 10 0/4 (reference code?) and S.47
