STS-134

Postby Cluny » Thu Apr 28, 2011 5:51 pm

Endeavour is due to launch on friday at 15:47 ET [19:47 BST] for the final time and the penultimate launch of the shuttle programe :(

She was the orbiter used on the only launch I experianced back as a impressionable 10 year old [STS-49 , her first launch] :(

Check the woman swearing off camera at the end :))

Edited to correct the time , oops :))

Still a five hour difference though, unless WESH2 News are lying when, at 13:30 our time, they were saying 08:30 in Orlando :p

Some friends of ours are on honeymoon in Florida at the moment, and witnessed the launch. I'm not jealous. Not in the slightest. Not one jot... :ymdevil: :D
