Prop Fixed!

Those brakes sound like a train whistle!

She has also made the flight to Gay Paree
where she will be for a while.....

I think someone pulled some strings
regarding the flightcrew certification. :D

Still no reply to me from Breitling London.

Whenever Breitling decides they'd like

I have no idea, and neither do the Breitling
people in London!

Flipping brilliant. Nice catch DanFth. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

That climb out from St Moritz ( LSZS ) looks a bit scary. Surrounded by lots of very high hills/mountains!!! Don't even think about the turbulence... I would pay to take that trip though. ;)

The runway is at an altitude of 5600ft !

You first have to join the Connie Flyers Assn.
which I don't think is very expensive....

THEN you get to book (and pay for) your
flight(s)!

The fellow I E-mailed back and forth with a
few months ago said they would LUV to be
allowed to operate in the UK on a regular
basis but not being able to take paying
PAX was too big an obstacle.......

I guess even with Breitling sponsorship, they
still need that steady income they receive in
Switzerland.......

Interestingly, and I'm not sure exactly how
this works, the aircraft is registered in CH
and has a Swiss tail number but is somehow
operated under United States FAA rules for
both the Connie itself and the aircrews......

Kermit:::::::::::::::

Oh, Wow!

Any more vids?

I've lost TRACK of all the vids I've posted of
the Constellation over the time I've been on
this "Forum"!

If you look around under the Commercial
Aircraft Heading, you'll find a number of
threads devoted to Connie.......

"Beautiful From Any Angle" is the only one
I can think of which doesn't say either
Connie or Constellation......

At one point there I think I was about to
drive everyone NUTZ on here!

Yeah, Yeah, I KNOW.........

Two nice vids, though.........

These are special for me because I
always tried to sit on the port side
just behind the wing, whatever prop
aircraft I was flying in back then.

Those Alps are Spectacular, too!

And the Sounds!
