So shall I be the first to say I don't think that will ever come to fruition? :-o

Probably correct but.............

Qatar has recently built a new airport on reclaimed land, Lord Foster has close ties with the Qatari royal family, and the Qatar sovereign wealth fund seems to be buying most of London at the moment, so you never know. ;)

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

When was a Thames Estuary airport first suggested? It must be a least half a century ago! Anything ever happened?

Or maybe it's like the Channel Tunnel. First thought about early 19th century, couple of abandoned attempts, actually opens nearly 200 years after first thought of. Then they think about building the rail link for a rail tunnel! ~x(

A few years to go then :))
I'd rather be skiing
