Caernarfon air museum

Postby Ray C » Fri Mar 23, 2012 9:46 pm

For many years part of my area I cover as a sales agent is north wales, I'm ashamed to say I have driven past the sign for the Caernarfon Air Museum and not taken the time "to hang a right" and investigate, until Thursday, fed up with retailers "woes" I decided to investigate, and glad I did, it's very isolated but for £6.50 I had the hanger all to myself, no "ankle snappers" I particularly liked the access to climb into cockpits, Hunter, Venom, and a Handley simulator.

Well done to the dedicated staff running this small relaxed museum, claiming into the cockpits gave me one of the best lunch hours in years.

It's surprising whats on the door step we don't bother to go and see.
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.
