Is They Any Spots For Planespotting At RAF Brize Norton Please Because Im Going Down There During August?

Do not try and park at runway #026 Eastern end (aka Britannia Gate). Park in the village hall in Brize Norton village and walk down Station Road. If the aircraft are landing into a Westerly wind (check with the Met office web-site for details before you go - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ ... ather.html. Type in Region: London South East and Location: Brize Norton... GO) you will get some fine landing shots. Take a short pair of stepladders to see aircraft taxiing out from this end - but don't touch the fence!!!

Runway #08 end is easily accessible from either side but watch for the stream which runs through the water meadow to the South of the #08 approach. Wellies needed this year.
