It flew over just after 14:00 but diverted to BHX due to the fog

I would guess the figures listed in
the news article might be just a tiny
bit conservative.....

There would also be a nice ripple
effect in Bruntingthorpe for goods
and services obtained locally....

Not to mention all the establishments
where those Walton paychecks/ques
are spent!

And don't forget all the people who
come to Brunty for CWJ and other
events and the money they spend
while they're there....

Well, Bruntingthorpe village itself only has one place to spend any money and that's the Pub The nearest general store is, probably, Countesthorpe which is a 10 minute drive away. I know the chippy does well there with the brunty faithful.

I would say that the amount employed by C. Wlaton Ltd. is probably close to what it says in the article, BUT, there are a lot of other businesses up there. There's probably more like 2-300 people that work there every day. Not to mention the countless visitors/deliveries that are on site at any given time.
