Well, there are a lot of leads to track
down on here::::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_JetStar

I know you've probably already looked
at the Wiki entry, but one place to
start would be to contact any of the
organizations that have a Jetstar in
service or on display as they might
have the full plans or enough for your
purposes and might be willing to make
some copies for you. This is one of
the reasons that museums exist, after
all, to support research and preserve
information :)

Now I have a question: Which version/
configuration do you intend to do and
with what paint scheme? Also, what
attracted you to the JetStar in the 1st
place? :D

Please keep us informed, okay?

thanks I dont know any museums that have one? I doubt any are in the UK although i can ask a museum for info if I find one that have a jetstar as for the configuration? which ever one I can get info for but preferably the 1st version. the reason for this aircraft? first It is in my opinion one of the best looking aircraft ever made and second it is a relatively small aircraft so in a scale drawing the detail is large unlike an airliner which is harder to draw as the details become small and hard to distinguish

thanks but that isnt really a help as im planning a drawing similar to this however I aim to show more wing detail and need my own information as these drawings are almost never truly 100% accurate they should never be used to base another drawing from

Hodo, that Wiki lists a number of
museums which have JetStars :D

Just none in the UK, and that's why
E-mail is such a wonderful thing!

And here's a page about one on display:

http://www.hill.af.mil/library/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=5756

It even has contact information for
you to get in touch!
