she needs a modicum of tinwork, mainly on an area of the trailing edge, removed for another airframe years ago,

The trailing edges were removed by MaPS as they were falling off. This was due very bad corrosion causing many of the internal ribs to fail.. the surfaces had been flapping for a long time and they had almost been shook off.

If they are of any help with the repairs, the broken trailling edges were left in the brick building next to the original 603 pan, where the jacks were stored.

Nipped down to see 603 this afternoon (wire side) even from the distance I could see she
was much improved for a good wash....I do hope things have not come to a halt.
