Lightning Preservation Group 25th Anniversary on Sunday 28th July 2013.

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it. How did it go?

It is 25 years since the LPG was formed and acquired XR728 and XS904. Long may they continue to thrill all at Bruntingthorpe.























It was a bonus meeting Gregg and Paul again.... I think!

Andy is the only reason I know as much
about Lightnings as I do !

Great vid yet again. You even caught the rain and my bald spot !!! and was that XPL on the banking? (Where is Sir Git BTW?)

An ice cream is a small price to pay for this video. Just the sight of a Lightning is enough to give me goose bumps and has done ever since Leconfield in the very early 60's .. yeah I know you weren't born then - and probably your parents as well !! Two of them doing a 'Q' scramble with bags of reheat made my day..

As did meeting you and Gregg.

Great vid cluny & pics MOD, it was another great day at Brunty.
Thought it was a nice touch that John Ward came & talked to the punters after the lightnings fast taxi, also, does anyone know why the Canberra cut her run short?
